Girls Football Clinic
Got Her Back & the Washington Prodigy at Norfolk State University
Got Her Back & the Washington Prodigy teamed up at Virginia’s Norfolk State University
to host the first Got Her Back Girls Football Clinic on March 4th, 2023. Women's National Football Conference All-Pro and Team USA Gold Medalist Quineshia "Hollywood" Leonard and the rest of the stars of the Washington Prodigy Women's Tackle Football Team coached the next generation of female football players in this inaugural event.
During Got Her Back clinics, current and aspiring flag and tackle football athletes have the opportunity to learn from the top football players in the world in athletes and coaches of the Women’s National Football Conference. Girls elevate their game through combine drills, skills training and competitions. Clinics also include breakout sessions to connect, empower and inspire. Got Her Back Football Clinics are open to girls ages 6-18 and are free for the community.

I strive daily to be the person I needed when I was younger and being able to help bring something like this to the Hampton Roads area is truly a blessing.
I’ve been able to meet a number of girls that love playing football, but many of them don’t feel confident about playing competitively with the boys. GHB camps allow them the opportunity to explore their talents in football while building relationships with other girls who share their passion.
It’s important for the camps to be coached by women because the girls can see women do exactly what the world tells us that we can’t. And that’s play football.

As our Got Her Back platform continues to grow, we’re seeing first hand that girls all over the country are playing tackle football! The vast majority of girls play on all-boys teams. Some struggle with acceptance, bullying, or the harsh reality that their tackle football careers will end in high school.
Got Her Back is committed to creating confidence in female football players through visibility, education and mentorship. Our 2023 series of camps will allow us to show young women & girls all over the country that there is an army of FootballHERS that stand behind her.
Got Her Back is a 501c3 non-profit organization of the Women’s National Football Conference that exists to celebrate girls & women in football.
The mission of Got Her Back is to create connections & confidence in female football players through visibility, education and mentorship.
