It's Giving Tuesday! Show your support for HER and GIVE TODAY to join Got Her Back's mission to keep girls in the game!
Got Her Back was founded as a 501(c)(3) in October of 2019 by Women’s National Football Conference Founder and CEO Odessa Jenkins. Created as an anti-bullying response with the goal of building allyship for girls playing traditionally male-dominated sports, Got Her Back has now expanded to education and mentorship worldwide. While some young women struggle to see their future in football and exit their athletic careers early, others persevere through the bullying and stress as the only girl playing on a team of primarily boys. Got Her Back advocates for girls in football and empowers them to become leaders in their community on and off the field.
Over the last five years, a support network has been built for girls in football. Connections developed with Women’s National Football Conference athletes instill confidence and allow girls to see a future for themselves in the game. Girls in football have the opportunity to share their stories, receive support, and elevate their game through football camps created for girls and coached by women.
Your donations empower Got Her Back to accomplish our mission:
Develop: Got Her Back camps exist to train female athletes in football skill development and allow for increased competition opportunities that will grow and sustain the pipeline of girls in football.
Empower: Through our Keep Her in the Game Grant, girls and women worldwide are given resources to stay in the game. Girls are given a voice through Got Her Back’s storytelling that inspires others to continue their football journey.
Mentor: Connections with female athletes at the highest level of football allow school-age athletes to receive support from role models in their sport.
As girls continue to receive equitable opportunities and support, participation in tackle and flag football will continue to skyrocket. We are proud to be a part of that advocacy and growth of the game. Thank you for joining in our mission of impacting girls in football worldwide into 2025 & beyond!
